To witness the fierce power and intuition a woman possess to bring her baby into this world, followed by the soft moments of wonder as parents meet their brand new baby… there's really nothing else in this world like it."

Sarah Norris
I support families as a Birth & Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator Counselor, and Birth Center Assistant at Beginnings Birth Center. My husband and I have been married for fifteen years, called Colorado Springs home for the last fourteen, and are blessed to do life together each day with our four beautiful daughters. While I have degree and background in early childhood & elementary education, I found my calling to birth work after my own positive births and through additional opportunities to support family and friends as they welcomed their babies. In 2014, I trained as a professional labor doula and established my business serving Colorado Springs families. I've had the honor of supporting over 230 births to date; and I'd love to guide you and your family along as you prepare to make your baby's birth day all that you're hoping for.
When I'm not slipping away in the middle of the night to support a family, you'll likely find me outside with my family, helping my husband tackle our latest house project, or catching up on sleep. I love Saturday afternoon bike rides & hikes with my family, CrossFit and climbing/bouldering, and dance parties in the kitchen with my girls. I understand that birth is an incredibly formative time in a family's life; and I feel so honored to come alongside of each couple that entrusts me as their doula! |
